Cammie & Zack

I felt blessed to be surrounded by so many people that I love. The day was Perfect! It was more than I could ask for. The sun was shining despite the winter day and each detail was planned to the tee with perfection. I got married to the love of my life and we were blessed to have each other, family, friends, and incredible vendors to make the day sensational. Without the behind the scenes individuals it would not have been our perfect day. Forevermore Events thought well in advance all of the simple to extravagant details. From the overall look to the fine detail of each candle votive was exceptional. I loved the way the day was run and the look of the clubhouse at Sand Hollow Golf Club. One of my favorites was the purple chargers at every table setting, the perfect touch! My biggest wedding wish was to have a sit down meal as my celebration. This type of celebration wouldn’t have been complete without the mouth watering food of Marvelous Catering. The food was sooo good! Zachary can eat, and the food hit the spot for him! I personally appreciated the dessert detail. Not only did everything look to die for, it tasted amazing! The flower arrangements created by Bloomers were gorgeous. I felt beautiful with my bouquet and each arrangement on the tables and throughout the clubhouse were perfect. If it weren’t for Gideon Photography all of this would just be a memory, but the day comes alive for me over and over again as I relive the day through my pictures. Gideon Photography’s experience and creativity made our engagements and wedding day pictures priceless. I love everything about our pictures! These vendors along with many others embraced our wedding as if it were their own.  Every detail fit together like a puzzle making it a picture perfect day! How thankful I am for my perfect wedding day!

How did he propose to you?

It was a beautiful fall saturday morning and we were on our way to Salt Lake. Zachary Blake took me to my own ‘enchanted forest’ in Logan, Utah. This forest was gorgeous with a small bridge, flowing river, and colorful leaves everywhere! He sweetly took me down by the river, got down on one knee, told me he wanted to spend forever with me, and asked me if I would marry him!

Were there any personal elements that you incorporated into the wedding ceremony/reception?

Yes! Our favor was my grandma’s blueberry syrup, yum! On one of the tables in a frame was “have a blessed day,” a quote I often say. Also we had the delight of hitting a piñata filled with mexican candy to remember the years Zach spent in Mexico.

What was one idea that made the wedding yours?

The fact that my celebration was a sit down dinner where all of my guests could have their own seat to eat and enjoy the simple program (father’s words of wisdom, maid of honors and best man speeches).

What was one idea that the groom just had to have?

The food had to be delicious and there had to be a ton of it!

What was one “must have” that made your wedding unforgettable?

My one must have was having my closest family and friends there to celebrate with us!

Holding our celebration at Sand Hollow Clubhouse. This location is gorgeous and I wanted to celebrate someplace other than a church building.
