With this idea thrift store, consignment shops or your grandparent’s attic are great places to find unique items to enhance your seaside theme. Lobster catches, fishing net, oars and other seaside items set the mood. Crates can be used for various parts of your décor, including stacking them to create a backdrop for pictures or using them as a base for the centerpieces. Use a fishing net for the table cloth or runner or as part of a picture backdrop. For your guest sign in, have them write a message on an oar as a memento to hang on your wall and enjoy for years to come. Besides reusing antique or nautical items, try decorating with the benefits of your surroundings. For instance, driftwood that you may find on location can be incorporated into the table display. What better way to remind your guests of the tranquility around them, then the tangible objects placed intricately in front of them! Seashells can be used for a number of things: Abalone shells make great containers or bowls. Use sand dollars in the middle of your chargers or plates and scatter seashells along the table runner and in your centerpiece and bouquets. A major part of your décor is the floral. Choosing your flowers is important as you will want to make sure to select ones that are in season and also what will match your colors and theme. Besides the flowers themselves, consider what the bouquet’s stem is wrapped in. Used rope or twine, shells and fishnet will add the intimate details you adore. As your friends and family enjoy the breathtaking surroundings, they wont help but notice the intimate details of the blossoming table pieces created by a florist’s graceful hands.
